Artist Residence
We are currently renovating a beautiful property from the 1950s that used to house ground-floor shops and apartments above. We are turning this unique building located in the town of Padasjoki into an artist residency.
Our goal is to have finished the renovation works during winter 2023-2024, which will allow us to open a residency for artists for the summer of 2024. We want to offer a long-term residency programme for periods of 6 to 12 months for 1 or 2 artists. In addition, there will be short-term residency programmes. We look forward to receiving applications from a great variety of different artists. We also encourage the development of joint projects among the residents.
Each autumn, we will organise an exhibition in which the works of the resident artists will be displayed.

Events
We organise different events such as performances, exhibitions and seminars among other activities. We want to create spaces which are easily accessible for people to interact with art, artists and each other. We want to reach out to new audiences by bringing art closer to people's lives. On the other hand, there are also possibilities for artists to network and find opportunities.
By becoming a member you will always be informed about the events we arrange and, if you so wish, you will also have the chance to get involved in the planning and executing of them!
Exhibitions
After a residency season comes to an end a joint exhibition will be held in Helsinki to present the artists' works.
By becoming a member, you are entitled to receive an invitation to the opening of the exhibitions and you will have the opportunity to meet and talk with the artists!
